"GodLord think that kid Daniel R below's the one hittin' the pipe. Testy little LA fellow..Southern Oregon 4X4 is an outstanding local resource for repair and upgrade on your vehicle. Dan and his crew of mechanical wizards will straighten out the kinks in your rides mechanical functions and treat you like they appreciate your business. Fair SPOKEN estimates that are just that when delving into the potentially variable problems with your vehicles innards, "estimates". If that puts you off, get on down the road to RipOff Auto and good luck. ME?, I'll be treated fairly, and done proper at S/O Tire & 4X4. Been the case several times now on my journey to bring my little 01' YOTA back up to snuff. I can for the most part turn my own wrenches, but preloading diffs., installing lockers and pressing on bearings etc., is for the shop. And these guys excell at proper execution of critically exacting mechanical work."

"First, to Daniel R below: Did you ever think that maybe you get treated poorly in Oregon is because you're an obnoxious, overbearing Californian? Your review certainly came off that way, and if it's any indication of your personality, your bad experience was well deserved. And Karla T.: Did you get any other estimates anywhere else to support your allegation that their estimate was excessive? I doubt it, because front end work is extremely labor-intensive and $850 isn't at all unreasonable at typical $75/hour shop rate that most garages charge. If you got it done cheaper somewhere else, by all means let us know. My experience with Southern Oregon Tire: I found the major brand tires I needed online. I phoned SO Tire and asked it they could beat the online price. They said they'd match the price, plus mount and balance for free. Now that's service!"
